File a Float Plan

What happens if you don’t return from a day trip or overnight within a reasonable period? Nothing, unless you let someone know the details of your trip and tell that person how to secure help.

The Maine Association of Sea Kayak Guides and Instructors, in cooperation with the Maine Island Trail Association and Maine Sea Grant, have designed a form to make filing a Float Plan easy.
